フィクションとノンフィクションの狭間に作品です。

私は男ですが、初めて読んだときの感動、興奮は忘れられません。
様々な思惑を持つ登場人物が、繊細でほんと人間らしいというか、リアルに人間を書いてました。
桜庭一樹氏の本は読みやすいですし。ライトノベルだから、という理由で買うのをやめている人には、この作品を読んで、イメージを変えてもらいたいと思っています。
少しでも多くの人に、この作品を読んでもらいたいと思っています。

多少誇張して書いてますが、それぐらい最高な作品でした。

傑作です。読んでない方はいますぐ読んでください。
手放しに絶賛したいという小説はこういうものなんだと思いました。

簡単にこの話の内容を言うなら、山野内荒野が恋の謎を追う話です。つまり恋愛小説です。桜庭一樹先生初の恋愛小説らしいです。
恋愛小説でありもちろん青春小説でもあり、荒野に関わる恋や荒野の成長を描いているんですけど、それが驚くほど淡々と進みます。なんのてらいもなく、と言うのでしょうか。これがすばらしい！　恋愛も成長も、いとも簡単に通り過ぎてしまいます。この小説において恋愛も成長もただ当たり前のことなんです。それだというのに、きちんと恋愛小説しています。新しさとかそういうものは全くありませんが、なんとも不思議な恋愛小説です。
それに、荒野の心情が気持ちよく（普通だったら恥ずかしくなりそうなところだというのに）、作品全体に流れる雰囲気が気持ちよく、ときどきドキッとするような台詞回しや描写。ホント、素晴らしい。

少女小説一流の書き手としてライトノベル内外から注目されている桜庭一樹。
本作では桜庭さん本来の魅力である、不安定な少女の心情がたっぷりと味わえます。
力強い女性たちの息吹と情念、オトナになっていくことを内心畏れている少女。
そこに様々な男性の思惑が流れ込み、この物語を形成していきます。
これは間違いなく最先端の恋愛小説。
