今まで以上に一見さんお断り度が増して、初見の人にはとっつきにくい漫画になったと思う。
過去の漫画を知っている事を前提に始まるので、非常に難解な漫画になっています。
せめて登場人物紹介のページは必要だと思う。
予備知識のある私としては、どんどん惹き込まれて行って面白かったのですが、現在と過去が交錯していて分かり難い所が多々あった。
フィクションとノンフィクションの狭間がわからないのは、昔からの作風だしそれが面白いっていうのもあるけど…

良くも悪くも玉吉漫画です。
日常の些細な事を描くことに関しては鬼才！
とにかく、また桜玉吉さんの漫画が読めるだけでも嬉しい限りです。
「読もう!コミックビーム」も収録されているのでお買い得です！！

今までの玉吉先生の作品が好きな方なら１００％楽しめます。
基本的には以前と同じ漫玉日記です。
水木先生の昭和史の後半に近い味わいの深さを醸し出していますね。
今回の読み所として、玉吉先生と女性アシさんとの情事（？）があります。
（どうやらファミコミからビーム初期辺りの話の様です）
エロスと哀愁漂うダメおやじっぷりが良い感じです（笑）
他にも、エンターブレイン入社時期のＯ村さんの話や
玉吉先生とヒロポンのニカハフーン♪など盛り沢山！
しかし、今回の１番のツボはムカデちゃんか！？

これが玉吉先生の現実なのか虚構なのか、その境界線のあやふやさは、なんだか「つげ義春」の世界に近いなぁとふと思いました。しかし、面白い。やはり面白い。久々に雑誌連載を再開されるときに「ご光臨」と煽られるだけの圧倒的な存在感は相変わらずです。

ダウナーでエロース。ギャグでセンチメンタル。

読もう！コミックビーム！部には発売時にはまだファミ通誌上で発表されていなかったものまで掲載されていて、デジャブかと一瞬焦りました。
