ずっと読みたかったけれど、手に入りませんでした。
ようやく、手に入れる事が出来て、ドキドキしながら読みました。

二人の女の子「由香里」と「雪乃」お話は由香里視点で紡がれていきます。
由香里は、初めて出来た親友、雪乃に淡い恋心を持っています。
雪乃は美人で頭脳明晰。男女からも人気な女の子。
そんな、雪乃と親友でいられる関係を壊したくなくて、
自分の本当の気持ちを隠して、友情を育んでいます。

由香里の雪乃の対する切ない気持ちが、ずっと綴られていきますが、
自分の心と必死に戦いながら、表面上は普通に振舞っていて、それが健気です。
でも、雪乃が時折見せる、由香里への優しい気持ちも見落とさないでください。

そして、
二人の関係を優しく見守りながら読みすすめていくと、
気づくと涙している自分に気づきました。
特に、第六章は、読んでて辛くて、文字が涙で何度もゆがみました・・・。


私は本編のシリーズは読んでいませんが、この作品だけでも十分満足出来ました。
ハンカチのご用意忘れずに。

「ふたり」に続くBLOOD LINKシリーズの外伝です。
相変わらず、この人の作品は切ない気持ちにさせられます。
前回の外伝「ふたり」は友情がテーマでしたが、今回は恋愛がテーマになっています。この物語の中で、主人公が純粋に好きな人を想う気持ちが暖かく、そして悲しく胸を打ちます。
但しテーマも目新しいものではなく、完成度でも「ふたり」には及ばないため、今回は星３つとしました。
辛めの評価をしてしまいましたが、シリーズのファンには間違いなくオススメの１冊です。
