元々ファミコン雑誌等でゲーム業界の裏話からその他もろもろの
体験記を面白おかしく描いてきた著者が
ゲームセンター、漫画、コンビニなどの
ずばり「もうかるしくみ」を３人のキャラクターが紹介する、
という内容です。
普段身近な存在の裏事情が判り大変興味深く読めます。
が、少々マニアックな内容で何度か読まなければ詳しい事情は理解
できません。
気軽に読める漫画ではないですが、根気のある漫画好き（？）には
今までに無い新しい視点で斬新かつ興味深い内容です

ご存知の方も多いかと思いますが
著者の鈴木みそ氏は週間ファミ通やコミックビームで
ルポ漫画を描いてきた作家さんです。

従来の作品では、聞き手である著者の視点で描かれていましたが
今作では様々な幽霊や、人々の生き様を軸に
身近だけど良く分からない業界の裏側を暴く、という構成になっており
非常に読みやすい作品に仕上がっています。

この1巻では命、漫画、アニメ、コンビニのお金について紹介しています。
それぞれ興味深く読めたのですが
特にコンビニの話についてはストーリーも良く練られて、なかなか感動的です。

肝心のお金の仕組みに関してですが
かなり細かい取材を行い、描いているらしく
数字にはかなりリアリティを感じますし
業界の実態を上手く表現できているのではないでしょうか。

私は最初、銭というタイトルを見て
数字や計算式が頻繁に出てきて、難しいのかなと心配していましたが
実際はそう堅苦しいものではなく
かなり気軽に読める業界入門書というべき作品です。

このレビューを書いている現在5巻まで出ていますが
どうしてもテーマがオタク方面に偏りがちなので
そういうものに拒否反応を示す方にはオススメしません。
しかし、古美術商やブリーダーの裏側なんて
普通に生活してたらまず知ることができませんし
この1巻と、興味のある巻だけでも買う価値は十分にあると思いますよ。

1巻では漫画、アニメ、コンビニの各業界を
銭の面から、気持ちよく解明しています。
　単行本の原価は？
　アニメ業界が抱える闇とは？
　コンビニ店長の理想と現実って？

「銭」とか「金」とかいうものに、 並々ならぬ関心を
抱いているのは 私だけではないことでしょう。
あの業界、どうやって食ってるの？
果たして儲かってるの？なんてことが 気になって仕方ありません。

そんな「業界と銭」が知りたい！！という
庶民の興味に見事応えてくれるのがこの作品。
ねちっこいとも思える取材力と 説得力のある展開で、
「銭」や「金」の カラクリが白日の下にさらけ出されています。
「銭」や「金」の話が好きな人には 劇的にお奨めの作品です。
