まず最初に「ウルティマオンライン」に関する書籍ならばどれについても言えることですが、常にゲームが進化するために今は正しい情報であっても将来正しくなくなるということはあります。この本は「正邪の大陸」発売後の家のルールに基づいて書かれており、2003年6月の現時点において最新の情報に基づいていると言えます。

■こんな人におすすめ

ウルティマオンラインの家を如何に内装するかということに特化している本なので、ゲームそのものの始め方やダンジョンの地図などというものは全くありません。もしゲームをこれから始めようと思って何かガイドを探しているならばこの本ではなく別の本を探してください。この本は「既にウルティマオンラインの中で家を持っている」方におすすめです。内装に興?がない人でもUOの中で家を持っているならば家に関する情報が豊富なのでこの本はお勧めです。

■著者について
著者名から私は海外で執筆されたものの翻訳版かと思い、海外の内装中心かと思って購入しました。この点については誤りで、日本の方のようです。

■内装レシピ

合計126種類の内装レシピが収録されています。全て段階ごとの画像付で解説されているため、気に入ったレシピを自分で作成する時に困らないでしょう。

■家に関する解説が丁寧

タイトルから想像してこの本は内装レシピだけを集めたものかと思っていましたが、家に関するガイドとしてもかなり素晴らしいものになっています。家のコマンドなどはもちろんのこと、新規建築や建替えの注意点やカスタマイズの手順、特にカスタマイズをはじめ??行う場合に判りにくい「家の支持構造」についての解説が含まれています。もちろんこれらは内装をする前段階の解説としてなので全体からみればページ数はそう多く割かれているわけではありませんが、家を持ってはいるものの、あまり家に関する知識はないという方はこの本を読んでみることをお勧めします。

UOで家持ちの方は必ず持っていたい１冊です！
オンラインゲームは通常HP等での公開が普通ですが
HPに載って無く、この本しか載っていないものが多数あります。

内装に必要なアイテムに関しても、どこで手に入れるのか
詳しく書いてあり、初めて内装をやる方でも非常にわかりやすく
書かれています。また、インテリアだけでなく、内装全体についても

非常にきれいな家の写真が載ってて、これを読んでしまうと
家が必ず欲しくなるはずですｗ

狩り等に飽きてきた人にはUOの新しい楽しみ方も与えてくれることと思います。

是非、みんなで素晴らしいUO Lifeを送りましょう！

家の基礎はもちろん、家具のレシピやカスタマイズ例が載っていて便利です。
家を所有してる人はもちろん、持ってない人でも「家のカスタマイズはこんな感じなのだな」と実感できるはずです。
家具のレシピはものすごく丁寧に書かれてあるのですが、レシピの数がちょっと物足りなく感じます。
家を長い間所有してる方には不要かもしれません。
