玉吉という作者と『鬱』は、切手も切り離せられない関係にある。
『しあわせのかたち』、『防衛漫玉日記』に続きこれで３度目だ。
玉吉ファンならもう慣れっ子です。
荒れていくその画風をご堪能あれ！！

最後の方はリアルで、ホント人事ではない感じでした。
でも、なんだか、悩んでるのは自分だけじゃないんだと、
励まされる部分が多かったです。
玉吉さんの作品まだ読んだことない人は、
防衛漫玉日記から入ったらイイですよ。
ホントはギャグ風日記漫画なんで、面白いです。

桜玉吉さんの作品の中で最も長期連載だった日記マンガの最終巻です。巻数が進むごとに作者のうつ病が進み、この最終巻ではついにリタイアしてしまいます。墨絵で描かれた回も多く、絵柄は全体的に物悲しい雰囲気が漂っていますが、不思議なことに悲壮な感じはせず、面白く最後まで読めてしまうのです。

内情的な作品は得てしてお笑いか悲壮的かどちらかになりがちですが、本作品はこの矛盾する２つが見事に１つになっています。他に類を見ないタイプのマンガですから、読んだことのない人は是非１度読んでみてください！もちろん今までのレベルを全く落とすことなく仕上がっているので、ファンの人も間違いなく楽しめると思います。
