俺が初めてギルティの世界に入った作品というのが、ＰＳ版のギルティギアでした。友達に奨められて何となく買って遊んでみたら、二人の主人公の対となるエンディングに度肝を抜かれ、近作までプレイするに至っています。それからこのゲームの製作者にして、イラストレーター、原作者等等の石渡大輔氏の描く世界観に惹かれました。だから、小説という形でゲームでは知る事の得なかった世界観に触れられるというのは、ある意味良い機会にめぐり合えたと思います。新しいイラストも拝められますから（笑）　しかし、不満もあります。ゲームでは確かに世界観が限られる、だが、ゲームにおいて重要な人物をゲームで取り上げず、小説又はラジオドラマにして取り上げるという行為はどうかと考えます。平たく言えば、このゲームの世界観はゲーム本編で解決されなければならないし、補助している物で解決させる方向が見え隠れしているように思えてなりません。私はそう思うので、星を三つにさせて頂きました。

時間軸はゼクスの少し前ですね。
カイを中心にカイの目線で話が進んでいきます。
カイが好きな人は買ってみる価値は十分にあります！

また、あまり詳しいことが明らかになっていない聖騎士団や
魔法の法則、カイが天才と呼ばれる所以についても
少し触れているところがあるので、資料としても貴重かと。

しかし、ゲーム中では完璧な模範人間として描かれているカイ
にも拘らず、そんなカイならやりもしないようなミスや無茶を
結構しているので、星は4つとさせていただきます。

この話はギルティギアゼクスのカイのストーリーのほんの少し前の物語です。ゲーム内では全然語られなかったカイの思いも読める作品なのでカイのファンの方はぜひ読んでください!!
