ファミ通で連載中の「ドキばぐ」の原点(?)、「Gセン場のアーミン」に続いての柴田先生のゲーム漫画です。
扱っているゲームは今となってはかなり古いものばかりですが、
それでもそのゲームや登場しているゲームクリエイターさん達を少しでも知っていれば、
爆笑せずにはいられないと思います。
いえ、知らずともきっと楽しめるのではないでしょうか。

そして柴田さん独特のキャラクターの立て方で、
どの登場人物も非常に面白いキャラに仕上がっています。
今まで名前しか知らなかったようなクリエイターさん達に
妙な親近感をも覚えてしまう事間違いなしです！

個人的には今の「ドキばぐ」では登場していないですが
元マネージャーさんである妙に時代がかった口調のノリコさんが一押し。

週刊ファミ通連載の『南国少年パプワくん』『ジバクくん』の作者･柴田亜美が
｢G(ゲー)セン場のアーミン｣の流れを汲む､自らのビデオゲーム生活の日々を
漫画として破天荒に描いた､とても崖っぷちな自虐作品です｡
1996年前後あたりのプレステ､サターンなどの機種や業界人との掛け合いやゲームネタ満載で
他の様々なゲーム機種やイベント､作品紹介も踏まえており､時代を感じさせます｡
1本4ペーシ/27本収録で関係者のはげまし(？)コメントも多数掲載した緻密な構成が飽きさせません｡

お宝グッズ目当てに柴田亜美と担当チップス小沢がセガ､カプコン､SNK､ナムコにチュンソフト､
アトラスなどなどメーカーへ突撃し､やりたい放題暴走しつづける取材風景に爆笑必至｡
実際に存在する人々との現実的な描写中心ながら､
どこまでが嘘で本当なのかわからないうまく混ぜ合わせた面白さがナイス｡
しかもご近所だからという理由でPCアダルトゲームメーカーのelfにも手土産片手に
お邪魔する有様｡メガドライブやメガCD､家庭用NEOGEO(！)など
レトロゲームもこよなく愛する彼女の生き様はどこまでいくのかさっぱりわかりません(笑)｡
