物語も終盤にさしかかる、第3巻です。
この巻の見所は、何といっても夏妃VS絵羽だと思います。

夏妃を推理で追い詰める絵羽、激昂する夏妃、それぞれの迫力が凄まじいです。
原作でも迫力のあるシーンでしたが、それを上手く再現していたと思います。この回の作画は特に素晴らしかったです。
私は、原作以上に夏妃に感情移入してしまいました。

夏海先生は、原作の雰囲気を損なわず、かつテンポ良く漫画としてまとめられているので、原作マニアの方にも新規の方にもおすすめできます。

あらすじ：
君には見えないのか？ベアトリーチェ様なら、もうそこにいるじゃないか。
そう言って戦人を囲む使用人達。
動揺する戦人だが、己が信念は曲げない。
いると言うならそれを証明してみせろ、と。
そしてその直後、人の手では不可能としか考えられない事態が起こり、次なる犠牲者が生まれる。
魔女は･･･本当にいるのか。

さて、3巻です。
碑文の謎もありますが、この巻ではそちらは保留。
次々と人が殺されていくため、犯人と犯行手口の推察が先決という状態。

というわけで、「チェス盤をひっくり返す」が決め科白となりつつある戦人とつきまとう魔女の影との戦い開始。
しかし考えれば考えるほど、人ならざる第三者がいないことには説明のつかない事が増えていきます。
うーん、このいるのかいないのかのもやもやした状況は面白いっすね。

但し今回も悲惨な犠牲者が出るため、やはり全体的に雰囲気は重いです。
グロテスクな描写も健在につき、ご注意を。
3巻は極力明るく振舞っている戦人が「おかしな雰囲気になった時」の真里亞にツッコミを入れる局面くらいかな、コミカルなのは。

しかし紗音の時といい今回といい、犠牲者が生まれる前には一度幸せな方向へ持ち上げられ、それから突き落とされるのがむごい･･･。
こうなってくると「あ、それは死亡フラグ･･･」と思えてくるだけにいたたまれない。

尚、作画に関しては今更何を言うでもなく、上出来。
中でも女傑同士のぶつかり会いの場面は内容も相まって迫力のシーン。
ひぐらしシリーズでは作画に難があることが多かったですが、うみねこは平均値が高いかも。

原作プレイ済みです。

他のユーザーさんも書かれている通り、
夏妃vs絵羽のシーンは迫力満点で、見ごたえもばっちりです。

「ベアトリーチェは「い」る」使用人&真里亞と、
「寄り添う二人」の扉に描かれる魔法陣発見の描写は、
正直原作よりも怖かった…。不気味さ割り増しです。

前述のvsシーンと言い、テンポが良く読みやすかったです。
これからクライマックスに向けて一直線の急転直下、楽しみにしています！
