さて、１４巻目に入りましたこの作品。このかんでは「すず」の母「すずらん」の物語が主です。周りの女性陣の（行人以外は女性だが）母親の若い頃なども出ています。短編では今のお話がメインとなっています。「すずらん」も夫君が行人同様に非常にニブチンだったと言うことが判明します。やはり親子は似るのでしょうか。
この巻からちょっと横道に逸れた感じがしますが、外伝的に捉えればこれはこれでＯＫでしょう。けど、残念ながらかお約束なのか１４巻では「みちる」は出てきません。すっかり忘れ去られた感じがしますけど。さて、行人とすずや島民の女性陣はこれからどういう動きをするのでしょうか？何時になったら行人は美咲に逢えるのでしょうか。今後の展開も期待出来る作品です。

この作品は、アニメで知って、大変面白かったので、中古で８巻位までドカ買いし、あとは新品で買っていました。
ですが、新品で買い始めたあたりから、なんか迷走している気がします。よくわからんチープな戦闘なんかが全面に出てきてました。13あたりから、ラブコメらしさがまた復活したなとは思います。
そもそも、この作家さんの絵は、人物のかき分けが非常にへたくそなので、読んでいて「これ誰なの？」みたいな時が多々あります。メインヒロインの絵すら、時々困惑します。
今回は、ヒロインたちの母親たちがヒロインたちと同年代の頃の話（過去話）も含んでいるのですが、
いくら母親の若い頃とはいえ、もう少し区別をつけさせてほしい。髪型多少違うけどわかりにくすぎる。
また、作品中に再びチープな戦闘展開へのフラグみたいなセリフがあったので、今後は購入を控えるつもりです。

これからお話がどうなっていくか…うにゃぁ〜、楽しみです。
