　ブレイクとヴィンセントは取引をする。その結末は少し意外な要素を含み――
　オズ、アリス、ギルの三人はオスカーによってとある学校に忍び込むことになる。その学校はオズの妹エイダが通っている学校。10年ぶりの再会はどうなるのか。そしてその学校でオズが出会ったのは妹だけでなく――

　前巻に続いてのレビューとなります。この巻でブレイクやシャロンのことが少し明かされますが基本、謎の解明は全面的におあずけ状態。帯やオマケページなどは今回も充実しています。
　まさかこのマンガで学校が舞台の状況になるとは……オマケとかパロディで学園モノとかならありえそうですが。わー、ギルが白い。アリスがいつもと違う服、しかも制服。それに恋愛要素がちょっと関わってくる展開。と、まあシリアスな展開続きだったところにいい息抜きが。でもその息抜きも長く続かないのですが。っていうかバスカヴィルの民（といっても一人だけ）律儀に学校の制服を着て現れましたが、まさかあの恰好で校内をうろついてってことは……

　いいキャラ登場。その一人、エリオットのオズに対する説教が清々しいです。アリスやギルでは出来なかったことをさらっとやってのけたなあ……今までの展開でナイトレイ家の人間＝嫌な人みたいな印象がかなり強いので意外。（リーオはどんな人間か掴めませんが）好奇の目で見てくる大人達に対しても無関心なオズにムカツクと思わせたり、嘘偽り無い気持ちを吐露させたりと登場していきなりアリスやギルよりかなり目立った彼。彼が関わっていくことでこれからオズがどう変化していくのか、という新しい物語の見所ができました。

　しかしエイダとの会話やエリオット達とのやりとり、ついに行動に出たバスカヴィルの民とオズは忙しいのですが、アリスとギルが……っていうか途中から二人はどこに？　いつも守ってくれている二人がいない状況だからこそ、エリオットの説教が生きる展開とはいえ出番……

今までは、過去の話とか、チェシャ猫とか、結構謎を引きずってはぐだぐだ描かれてきましたが、今回の巻では、やっと物語は前へ向かって動き出し始めます。

新キャラも、とても魅力的です。10年後のエイダもかわいいです。アリスのオズに対する思いも、やっと表面にあらわれるようになってきました。
でも、アリスの制服姿はもっと大きく描いてほしかったなぁ…という感じです。せっかく綺麗な絵なのに、もっといっぱいだしてほしいです。

バスカヴィルも3人（2人?）くらいでてきます。バトルも始まります。
物語が大きく動く予感がします。次巻が気になって仕方がありません。

今巻の内容を一言で表すとすれば自己犠牲だろう。

自己犠牲的な在り方は聞こえは素晴らしいものであるが、それは周りが大切にしてくれている自らの命をないがしろにするという点で加害的な、自己中心的なものでしかない。今巻でオズはこのことを痛感することとなるのだが、全面的に自己犠牲が悪いのではない。ただ、今までのオズ式自己犠牲には、周りに生かされている自らを自らも生かそうとする努力が欠けていたというだけだ。その怠慢は結局甘えであり、その甘えをエリオットは許せなかったのであろう。 これからどんな世界観を描き出していくのか。自分の存在を巡るこの物語の大きな枠組みがどうなっていくのか。この先もわくわくする。

物語としても、ようやくバスカヴィルと直接対峙し、佳境へ向かうのかと思うと次が楽しみでなりません。ただ、個人的にひとつ――

アリスの出番少なくね?!


これが星一つ分の減点要素です。
