カバーの表裏、そしてカバーの折込のところにも カラーが沢山あります☆話と話の間には「その後のネルガルさん」のイラストがあったり、カバー裏や巻末にも漫画があります。連載を見ている人にも楽しめる内容です☆

無実なのに死刑宣告されてしまった魔法使いと、彼が投獄されている牢の看守や投獄仲間（？）たちの誤解＆すれ違いギャグです。

たぶん心優しい魔法使いであるネルガルさんは、魔法を使わないように口を封じられているので、なかなかコミュニケーションをとれません。筆談しようにも担当看守は字が読めず、勝手な思い込みで話をややこしくしてくれます。誤解が誤解を生み、いつのまにか牢屋仲間のトップに立ってしまったり（本人不本意）。無実の罪で投獄されているので、脱獄もはかりますが、何かと邪魔されうまくいきません。死刑執行まで刻々と近づく中、どうなることやら……。

べたべたな展開だと思いつつ、思わずくすっと笑ってしまう一冊です。お約束オンパレードですが、ドリフのコントを見ているときのような感覚で、お約束を待ちながら読んでしまったり。
時折シリアスが混じるので、それが今後の展開にどうからんでくるのか楽しみです。このまま勢いで突っ走ってほしいなと期待しています。

なんだか数年前にはギャク王に連載しててもおかしくないノリのギャグ漫画です。
和みます。
とはいえ時折シリアス（ほんのわずかですが）が混ざったり伏線や謎があったりと先が気になる作りになっています。
舞台が刑務所という閉じられた場所なので、今後どのような展開になるのか気になります。
これで途中からシリアス多めのストーリー漫画になったらそれはそれで面白いですけどもw

今後への期待を込めた意味で★５つ。
ガンガン系の今最も注目する漫画です。
