ドラクマとの国境の山(名前忘れた。)の辺りが物語の舞台になり
アームストロングの姉も登場します。１７巻ではスロウスも登場
しそうです。そろそろクライマックスに向けて何か起こりそうで
す。タイトルの通りですが１６巻まで連載し続けて全く質が落ち
ません。大抵の漫画は途中で上がったり下がったりするのですが
この漫画は質を保ち続けています。

4.0 out of 5 stars 確かに｢萌え｣という言葉は乱用されていますね, 2007/3/24
　良くも悪くも次の展開への繋ぎであるのであまり言うことはありません。
　ただ、ノックス先生宅でのやりとりは、キャラの表情などで感情の伝わってくる名シーンであると言えます。余韻の残し方もかっこよかったです。
　ページの調整も取れたようでおまけページはボリュームダウンですが、展開の重さも無視していつでもバカやっててくれてますので安心して楽しめます。

傑作とも言える15巻のイシュヴァールのエピソードから時間軸が戻され、
新たな動きを感じさせる16巻です。今までの伏線を回収しつつ、
アームストロング将軍（少佐の姉）の登場や、キンブリーの出所など
今後の波乱を感じさせます。
エド達は相変わらずまっすぐに行動しますが、大佐は密かにグラマン中将を
呼び寄せたり、彼女達（？）と遊んでいたりと何か計画している様子。
女傑のオリヴィェ将軍とは今後どう関わることになるのか、楽しみです。
（エド達が将軍のところに行ったのは、大佐の意向だったんですね。）

今回はコメディ要素にコマが結構使われていたと思います。
個人的にウケたのは以下の３つでしょうか。
１．エドのつらら落とし（微妙な間が何度見ても笑える）
２．大佐と中将の会話（二人のやりとりが含みがあって面白い）
３．キンブリーの「誰？」（1ページ使ってるところとか久しぶりのヨキとか）

15巻がシリアスだったせいか、16巻では妙にこのあたりに凝ってるような
気がしましたが、面白かったです。
