アライブの連載も再開してるなか、今更ですが…最終話については二人は対等になれたと思います。確かに今まで歩よりもひよのの方が活躍(命まで賭けて)してましたからね…。作者として、1番に歩に花を持たせたかったのでしょう。今まで読んだ本でここまで強くて、かっこいい、大好きな主人公はいません(多分、これからも)。最終話を暗いと思われた方は画集を。本編だけがキャラクターではないはず!歩もひよのも皆笑顔です。
なにより、歩とひよの二人でラストを迎えられたことを心から祝福したい。

歩と清隆の関係や、ひよのの事は確かにちょっと信じがたいけど、城平先生は歩を絶望の下の下まで下げることにしっかりとした必要性を見いだしてくれました…
最後、歩が入院したまま終わるのは物寂しかったけどただのハッピーエンドではこんなに感動できなかったと思います

こんなに複雑で、こんなに残酷で、こんなに儚い…
なのにどこか心の一部に染み入る。
そんな最終回です

原作者さんの狙い通り、歩とひよのの立場も対等であり、また清隆やブレードチルドレンも含めすべて「平等」に終わりを迎えたのではないかと思います。
賛否両論があるとは思いますが、私も、そして皆さんもおそらく頭の隅で予想していた「歩とひよのがくっつくハッピーエンド」より、この終わり方キレイで切ない最高のハッピーエンドだと思います。
スパイラルに続き、スパイラルアライヴの方も連載再開が決定されてるみたいですし、そちらにも期待を寄せておきたいと思います。
