5.0 out of 5 stars 「生かす手」の持ち主（ちょっとネタバレ）, 2005/11/30
この巻はもう、表題から4コマ、背表紙に至るまで、テンション最高！
読みながら、爆笑したり泣いたりまたニヤニヤしたり、大変忙しい思いをしました。
話の方は、ますます核心に近づき、重く切ない場面が目立ちます。
撃てなかったと泣くウィンリィへのエドの言葉に、
泣けるというより、なんだか驚いて涙が出ました。

「おまえの手は人を殺す手じゃない。人を生かす手だ」

復讐するスカーの「破壊する手」でもなく、
傲慢な錬金術師の「生み出す手」でもない、　「生かす手」。

それは「立ち上がるための手足をくれた」彼女への、最高の賛辞なんだけど、
同時に「憎しみに耐えろ」という、ひどく残酷な願いでもある。
そしてスカーの言う「止められない憎しみの連鎖」への強烈な反論でもあるかも。

こんな思いを表現しようとするマンガなのか。...惚れ直しました。

他にも心揺さぶられる名セリフが山ほどあるのですが、一つだけ、牛小屋日記より。
キャラの肉付きいいよね、という質問に先生が
「細っこいと、メシ食わせてもらってないみたいでかわいそうじゃないかーッ！！！」
...お母ちゃんだー！！
牛様も、間違いなく「生かす手」をお持ちだと思います。

冒頭に、エドとアルの父親の謎を垣間見るエピソードが挿入されています。
今後の展開に波乱を期待させますね。

今まで謎に包まれていたホムンクルス達が表舞台に登場してきます。
いよいよ真実に迫っている感じがします。

この巻の陰の主役は、リンとランファンだと思っています。
ふざけてばかりのリンの本気になった一面と、それを上回るランファンの「覚悟」。
二人の壮絶な戦いは見ていて圧倒されます。
それと同時に、その絆の深さに熱くなりますよ〜！

エド・スカー・リン・ホムンクルス四つの戦いが描かれています。
相変わらず素晴らしい構成力　ハラハラドキドキで終わりまで一気読みしてしまいます。
ウィンリィのドラマ有　ランファンの覚悟の凄さ　そして遂に本性を現すグラトニー
次巻が気になる１２巻です。
