5.0 out of 5 stars 長い目で見れば楽しめるマンガ, 2006/10/26
1巻だけを評価すると、キャラの顔が安っぽくて（特に初登場のマカとソウル）、かつキャラ紹介程度なので引きつけが弱いです。
また随所に萌えを意識したと思われるエロが出てきますが、頻度が多すぎるし、取ってつけた感があって、ヲタな絵柄とあいまって、結構、鼻につきます。こういうエロが好きな人はいるんでしょうけどね。
なので、単独評価では、星2〜3程度かなと思いますが、5，6巻まで読むと絵柄は安定してきて、力の抜けたいい表情になってきますし、ストーリーもだいぶ方向がついてきます。主人公集団である死武専の生徒たちもそれぞれにキャラが立っていて、面白くなっていきます。
あと、作品名「ソウルイーター」であるからにはソウルが主役なのかなと思いますが、5巻あたりまでソウルは極悪な顔をしていてあまり愛着がわきません。6巻以降はだいぶ落ち着いた顔になってきて印象が良くなりました。

力を抜いて読んでいけば楽しめる単純なマンガであり、これはこれで良品とは思っています。
なので、とりあえず読んで頂かないと先にいけませんので、1巻も読んでね、という意味で星4つ付けておきます。

ちなみに私は連載途中から読み始めたので、5，6巻あたりから始めました。なので1巻の作画やエロカットに不満があっても「後半良くなるから」と自分に言い聞かせて読んでます。

　辛辣な評価が絶えないソウルイーターですが。私は好きです。

　キャラクターの言動は確かに安易でチープすぎやしないかと思いますが。

　絵（表紙）が好きなのとオーソドックスな格闘モノ漫画に「どうなの？」という意を表してソウルイーターいくない？って感じです。

　と、いうかありとあらゆる漫画にそんな深い趣を求めるのもどうかと思いますが。

　一巻ということで、登場人物紹介です。まだ物語の大筋には至りません。っていうか普通に楽しめるマンガだと思いますよ。うん。

アニメで好きになって1巻を買ってみました。 なんだかエロが多くて、別にこれなくても話進むんじゃない?と、エロシーンの度思ってしまい、あんまり展開に集中できませんでした。 アニメのほうが無駄がなくテンポ良く、絵もキレイなので、アニメのみで行こうと思いました。
