どこかで原作者が、出来上がった作品に対する受け止め方や評価は読者がそれぞれ自由にしてくれればいい、といったことをコメントしてたんですが、アニメのファンブックは逆の印象を受けました。原作との違和感や、台詞回しの違和感を感じる視聴者に対して、制作サイドが「ここはこういうつもりで作ったんですよ」とけん制（または言い訳？）しているような・・・。もっとおもしろい制作裏話とかを期待してたのでちょっと残念。

バインダーは子供向けで、いい歳した私としては本棚に置き難い。物自体はしっかりしてました。表紙も裏側のようにシックだったらば・・・残念。

人気に乗じて色々商品が出ている（出てくる）ので、そちらにお金を回したほうがいいような気がしますが、オンエアを見逃してかつＤＶＤを買うつもりがない人にはお勧めかもしれません。ストーリーは追えますから。

21~30話というと、ストーリーも複雑になりさらに深くなっていくあたりですよね。
この本はそれをただまとめただけではなく、かなり深くつっこんだ解説がされています。エドは何を思ってあの行動に出たのかとか、あの事件はどんな影響を与えたか･･･などなど。

そこがvol.1,2とは大きく違うと思います。今までのがつまらなかったという人も、vol.3は買って損はないと思います。
バインダーは思っていたより立派な感じで、ファンにはたまらないですね！ただ、綴じる時や見る時、気をつけないとページを傷つけてしまう恐れがありますが･･･。

　「鋼の錬金術師オフィシャルファンブック」シリーズ折り返しの第３巻は、21~30話までを収録。

第五研究所での攻防編から、ホムンクルス。ハガレン思い出に残るエピソードに選ばれた、ヒューズ殉職の第25話「別れの儀式」。エド＆アルの錬金術の師匠であるイズミ登場あたりまでを収録したムック本です。

　今回の綴じ込みポスターは、レンチ片手に微笑むウィンリィで、3rd　ED主役のウィンリィも微妙にプッシュされています♪。
