本試験のわりと直前（3月初旬、受験は3/26）に購入し、2回繰り返しました。文法問題などでずいぶん効果があったと思います。
単なるテクニック本ではなくきちんと英語を理解した上で解けるようになるよう解説してくれます。
ちなみに、リスニング問題でなぜ「問題文に出てきた単語と同じ単語が含まれる問題は誤りである」のか、論理的に説明してあった本は、私の知る限りこの本だけだったと思います。
新形式対応版が出ることを強く期待しています。

なお、付録の模試はやや難しめに作られていると書いてありますが、そのせいかかなり換算点が甘いです（アルクの本はどれもそうなのか？）。私は試験前日に解いて換算980点でしたが本番は925点でした。

うまく、スコアを上げるための技術が凝縮されていて、ある程度英語を学習した人が直前にポイントを整理するには、格好の本です。

しかも、練習用の問題集以外に、実践的な模試も１セットついていてこの値段は、良心的です。

ただ、テクニックは所詮テクニックにすぎないことも、ご注意ください。しっかりとした英語力を地道に身につけることが、王道でしょうから。

リスニング、リーディングの個別問題集をやるよりも、
簡単にスコアがあがりました（６００→７３０）
とっつきやすさ、短期間の勉強には効果が高いと思います。
