あまりぱっとしないTOEFLイディオム本がほとんどの中、この本は群を抜いている。単調なイディオムの羅列ではなく、音声を使ってのディクテーション形式の穴埋めあり、四択問題あり、意味をマッチングさせる練習ありと、うまく学習が身につくよう工夫されている。しかも1469題とTOEFL形式での練習問題がてんこ盛りだ。どれも過去出題されたものか、されそうなもののみを厳選しているのもいい。イディオム関連書としてはまれに見る良書。一冊購入しておけば長~く使えて値段のもとは充分とれるはず。おすすめ！

1つのイディオムを様々な文脈で何度も演習できるというのが
この本の特徴．語彙力だけでなく，リスニング等も身につく．

よくある，1つの単語に対して1つしか例文を示していないような教材では，
単語の持つ多義的な意味合いを理解できず，しかも英文に触れる
量も減ってしまい，総合的な英語力も伸びない．

本書は単語･熟語集の理想の形ではないでしょうか．
