3.0 out of 5 stars 見た目と内容の難しさのギャップが激しいです。, 2008/3/23
見出しはとてもキャッチで最初の目次まではいろいろなことができそうにみえましたが、
本文に入ると難しい用語の羅列でした。
前半は、仕様説明、リファレンスの色が濃く、
細かいところの説明が長くつづき、概要がつかめません。

簡単なサンプルで、概要がつかめる部分があれば、
素人の自分でも内容がつかみやすかったと思います。

イラストでおもしろおかしく書いても中身はたいへん難しいです。

でも他に専門書籍がないのでがんばって読みます。

MTとの連携というより、FlashでXMLを使えば何ができるか？という理解が深められると思います。僕はMTにあまり興味がなかったのでMTの章は軽く流して、Flash目線で読みました。FlashでXML周りを勉強したい人には最適でしょう。

ただ、後半のプロの制作者が作られたサンプルのソースにクラスファイルが入っておらず、プレビューできなかったりと本としてのミスは痛い（現時点でサイトでのフォローもナシ）。

MT（MovebleType）をXMLの書き出せるCMSとして利用し、表示をFlashでやることでFlashブログが構築できる、という内容です。

流れはMTのインストール、XMLの基礎、MTから書き出すように設定、Flashで読み込み、サンプルという順で、分かりやすいです。XMLに関しての知識もある程度つきます。
サンプルは実際に仕事に使えそうなものが紹介されているので、かなり有用になるかと思います。

本の脇には常にキャラクターのコメントやTipsがあり、それが息抜きになったりして多少は読みやすくなっていると思います。
ただキャラクター達にはストーリーがあるのですが、ストーリーに関するコメントはいらなかったかもしれません。


☆3つな点としては、Flashで読み込むサンプルがAS2.0なこと、内容が文章のみの部分が多く理解するのが大変なので、もっと写真・図解を増やしてほしかったです。
