かつて、小林秀雄の文章を10も並べた問題集があったろうか。かつて、埴谷雄高の哲学的エッセイで問題を作り、しかもその解説で「埴谷雄高の根本のなんたるか」に鬼神のごとく迫った参考書があったろうか。これはもはや受験参考書と呼べるレベルではない。しかし同時に、一部大学を目指す受験生にとっては、これほど文章読解の真髄に迫る良書は無いと言えよう。まあとにかく、びっくりする本です。

まさか、こんなにすごい本だとは思っていなかった。解説は解り易いし、すごく硬い感じの本かと思っていたけれども、古文研究法や、実況中継シリーズのような親しみやすさがある。現代文では、恐らくこれよりもZ会などのように使える問題集というのはなかなか無いのではないだろうか。
