英語と日本語の両方で説明されているインターナショナル本。しかし、内容はごく普通の食材を使用してのアイデアを提供しているだけの印象。例えば、芝海老としその串揚げは、芝海老をしそで巻いて、一つを刺して、さらに同じ物を作って、2個目を刺す。見た目は2本の芝海老をV字型におることにより、ｗに見せて揚げたりと、串揚げの見た目を洗練することにより、モダンな和の食としてみせる。料理の云々というより、デザイン性を重視した料理本と言えます。38種類の串揚げのアイデアがありますが、ごく普通のようなアイデアが多かったように思います。
