死刑制度の是非はともかくも、大阪拘置所の酷い対応には憤ります。
死刑囚にとって最後の拠り所である信仰の邪魔やいじめ(聖書を隠す、おまえの償いは死ぬことだけじゃ等の暴言)、極めつけは処刑の日に「坊さん呼んだけど、ええか？」と向井元死刑囚がキリスト教を信仰していることをわかっていながら、究極の嫌がらせであの世に送った大阪拘置所職員。犯人に怒りを向ける正義感だけからくる行為とは思えない。死刑囚が最後に人間の心を取り戻す手伝いをするのが刑務官ではないのか。
