４年ほど前のこと、ある街に転勤した。
同じ会社だが...文化がちがった。戸惑った。あせった。
勇退した入社当時の上司から「なるようにしかならないよ」という言葉。
落ち着きを取り戻したころ送ってくれた...「自分の感受性くらい」。
「駄目なことの一切を時代のせいにするな、わずかに光る尊厳の放棄」
の一節が...沁みた。
そんな時代を思い出しました。

『汲む』、『落ちこぼれ』、『椅りかからずに』といった作品に加えて、『廃屋』、
『この失敗にもかかわらず』も深いです。厳選された茨木さんに触れることが
できます。

【用法の注意】
茨木さんの詩...自分や誰かに、『状況』を選んで送ってあげてください。

テレビで
「わたしが一番きれいだったとき」の詩を知り、感動して
すぐに詩集を探した。

落ちこぼれというタイトルが気になってこの書を選び、

「落ちこぼれ　和菓子の名につけたいようなやさしさ」

で、著者の感性の深みにはまり、

「自分の感受性くらい」

で、完全にやられた。

読み続けて、語り続けたい、詩集。
選者のセンスも、イラストもいい。

テレビ番組で取り上げられ、目立つように並べてあったのが確か去年だったか…。本当にこれらの詩を好きなのかどうか１年ほど試してみました。

そして、1年後。
茨木さんの詩が気になってしょうがなくなり、誕生日の前日に買いました。

「落ちこぼれ」も、「汲む」も、「倚りかからず」も大好きな詩です。こんなに自分を省みさせてくれる詩もあれば、「店の名」「詩集と刺繍」のような笑いを誘う詩もあって、つくづく茨木さんって素敵な感覚をお持ちだなって思います。

半年程前、母と電話で話をしていたら茨木さんの名前が出てきました。不思議なことにお互い「知命」が好きであると分かりました。

「面倒くさい」「（若い子だったらこんな感じかな→）ウザイ」など、人と付き合うとこの詩の前半に書かれてあることと同じことを感じるけれど、ふと振り返ってみると確かに最後の3行に書かれてあるとおりだなぁと思います。人に巻き込まれ、振り回されて、くたびれはてたとき、この詩を思い出します。
