民事訴訟法の先生といえば、上田先生か伊藤先生でしょう。
本書は、個人的には、上田先生の本よりは、わかりやすくかかれていると感じました。

多くの司法試験受験生が基本書として使用している受験生必携の基本書です。

もちろん受験生以外にも、実務で訴訟を扱う方には必携の書と言えるでしょう。

民事訴訟法の教科書を「眠素」としないためにも、本書はおすすめの書です。
