おとなはみんな昔こどもだった。
どんなおとなにも皆お母さんがいる。

こどものいない人は、
こどもがいるっていいかもなぁ、と思うかもしれない。

離婚したことがある人は、
タイムマシンに乗ってやりなおしたくなるかもしれない。

若い人は、
「愛する」って結構イイかも、と彼氏や彼女を想うかも。

そして、今、お母さんをやってる人は、

・・・・泣くよ・・・・・

特に、子どもを預けて働いてるお母さん。
留守番させて働いてるお母さん。
決して人前で読んではダメよ。
・・・・泣くから・・・・

わたしは、不覚にも、通勤の地下鉄で読んでしまい、
すっかり「あやしい人」になってしまった。
特に「台所」は小さい娘を持つお母さんはご用心。

サイバラ、泣かすなよ・・・・。

おバカな息子＆しっかり者の娘、
それに愛憎のベターハーフ=元夫の鴨ちゃんとの日々を、
捨て身で笑い飛ばす。ときどき泣かせる。
とうとう離婚しちゃったサイバラと鴨ちゃん。
「一度すきになった人をきらいになるのはむつかしいなぁ」
というセリフが、本音だろうなと思う。

まあ若干大新聞向けに水で薄められているとはいえ、それでもやはりこの人の漫画を載せた毎日新聞の英断には拍手する。
読売に植田まさし、朝日にいしいひさいちを取られてしまった今、
それ以上のインパクトというとこの人しかいないだろう。

ただ、鴨とのやりとりが離婚時期と重なりあっているためか、どうもファミリームードでかくして書いてあるのが気にかかる。

新聞読んでファンになった一般の主婦がこの人の他の漫画読んだら悶絶するぞ。
でも読売に載ったことでギャグ漫画家として死んでしまった植田まさしのようにならず、西原には今後も毒を吐きつづけてほしい。

まあとりあえず読んでください。笑えますから。
