世間一般に知られわたる裁判を傍聴しておきながら

些細な事に粘着し、裁判全体の内容理解、認識、把握が不得手。

四十歳前後という年齢の割に内容が浅く、退屈。

単なる感想文レベルに留まり、残念な作品。

おそらく、裁判員には選ばれないであろう経歴を持つ著者の作品。
“セレブ妻”殺人、歯科医師宅の妹殺害&切断などと銘打ち、
有名どころの事件を取り上げながら、この視点での内容ではあまりにも侘しいです。
裁判でも争点になった通り（その程度は別として）心に病を持った被告人たちの犯罪も取り上げて、
「猟奇」という言葉を使ったこのタイトルにすら、猟奇にも勝る疑問を感じます。
文章も担当編集者の味なのか、（良くも悪くも）この著者が書いた他の著作物とは別モノのようです。
変ですね。
この著者は、法律解釈の進歩も無いようです。
今回は多少の期待もあって購入したのですが、全く期待に応えてくれませんでした。
その点でも残念。
内容的にも、読んでがっかりしました。
もっと広い視野で裁判、“法”というものを考えられないのでしょうか？
最後の作品ということで、敬意を込めて★をひとつ進呈いたします。

ある種やはりマニアックではあるのですが、ご本人の感性(専門家としてではなく一個人としての視点から、事件を見ている感覚)を、気心の知れた友達と世間話をしているかのように、飾らずにさらけ出してあります。

裁判にせよ、現実世界にせよ、感性、感覚の違いは多々あって、そこをすり合わせながらごまかしごまかし、常識人のふりをしてますが、“内心思ってる本音”“存在する偏見”を敢えて傍聴記という形の中に織り交ぜた、著者の勇気もすごいなと思います。

単純に(興味深いという意味で)面白かったです。

感性の合う合わないでの好き嫌い分かれると思いますので、軽く立ち読みしてからのご購入をお勧めします。
