実は僕は今まで大川豊という人のことを「エガちゃんの会社のトップ」程度にしか知りませんでした。そんなわけで、公職選挙の立候補者の中から荒唐無稽な主張や派手なパフォーマンスをする人を選んで面白おかしく紹介した本だと思って買ったら……裏切られた。真面目な本でした。和製マイケル・ムーアというのもしっくりくる。取材対象には一般には変な人と見られる候補者が多いものの決してそのような基準で選ばれているわけではなく、選定の基準は「組織票をもっていないこと」のようである。組織票が無く知名度までない場合が多いので選挙には弱いが、中には一部の国会議員より遥かにマトモな(小さな)ことを真面目に主張している人もけっこういる。趣味や妄想で立候補している人をからかう本ではない。田中康夫、東国原英夫、徳田虎雄なども大川氏の取材対象である。

書き方や執筆態度に関しては、まず、足で一次情報を稼ぐという報道の基本姿勢が徹底されているの素晴らしい。そして取材対象に敬意をはらいながら突っ込むべきところは突っ込むという姿勢も素晴らしい。これはしっかり勉強していなければできないことだ。くだけた言葉でありながら上品なのもよい。これらの点は大手新聞社やテレビのキー局にも見習ってもらいたい。類書が他に出版されたら急激に価値が下がる可能性が残るものの、現時点では日本の選挙を語るために必読の本の一つだと思う。

大川氏のことは失礼ながらあまりどんな方か存じませんでした。
しかしだいぶ以前からの熱心な泡末候補ファンということで
様々な候補に会い取材や訪問されておられ感服しました。

特筆すべきは私も当時から熱心に政見放送を見入っていた
『三井理峯先生』のその後が巻頭カラー写真入りで載っていたことです！
三井先生がお亡くなりになったのはウィキペディアなどで知りましたが
ここまで詳しくその後も含めてお調べされているなんて感激致しました。
著者は存命中にも先生宅を訪問されておりその際は会えなかったそうです。
他界後の再度の訪問にて遺族との対面に成功しなんとお参りまで！
先生の戒名にはちゃんと『理峯』の文字が…。
ご仏壇の遺影のお写真と先生ご愛用の文机までがちゃ〜んと掲載されています！
改めて懐かしく思い出しました。

『山、山、山、熊の山』の名文句を残された先生のご冥福をお祈りするとともに
大川氏の功績を讃えたいと思います。
ありがとうございました！

ラジオ（ストリーム）に大川総裁が出演した時の話が面白かったため、購入しました。

1.候補者が大宮(大会場)での講演会の際、聴衆者が大川総裁ただ一人だった話。
2.候補者が自宅で開発したロケットを見せられた話。
　(飛ぶには飛ぶが、何処に落ちるかわからないと説明された。）

とことん、泡沫候補に飛び込んでレポートするオタク的な発想はビジネスの参考になります。
