佐藤優が講師を努める授業を何回か聞いたことがあるのだけど、それは間違いなく今まで聞いてきた授業の中で5本の指に入るエキサイティングなものだった。それからしばらくして、この人が逮捕されたときには本当に驚いた。汚職とかそういうものとは縁遠い人だと感じていた。

著作を読むと、その逮捕にどういう背景があったのかよく分かる。背景を知るには『国家の罠』一冊で十分だが、佐藤優というけったいな人物を知るには、聞き語り式のこちらの方がよい。キリスト教徒で、愛国者で、情報屋で、学者。こんな人なかなかいない。こういう人が国のために働いていたことを嬉しく思うと同時に、こういう人を排除する組織に対して残念な気持ちでいっぱいになる。

産経新聞記者(斉藤勉氏)と佐藤優の対談形式、と言っても佐藤氏のコメントが９９%を占めていますが、になっています。斉藤氏があとがきで書いてある様に、佐藤氏の『頭の中身』を覗かせてくれる本です。
その中身は多岐にわたり、国家観から神学、国体のあり方等が述べられております。その考え方は世界の中の日本、という考え方で見ると非常に参考になるものです。ですが私などではついていけない内容(そこまでのレベルに達していないという意味で)も多々あり、それはそれで更なる知識の向上心を刺激してくれます。
鈴木宗男の『闇権力の執行人』とラップする内容が多々あり、それなら一緒に書けばと思っていたら、共著が出たんですね。それなら文句も言えないか。

「インテリジェンス」から佐藤優氏に興味を持ち、
著作を色々と読むようになりました。
本署では、神学をベースに持つ佐藤氏による分かりやすい
ネオコン分析と、国体論が光ります。
「書く」のではなく「話す」言葉ならではの「ゆるさ」があるのか、
「国家の罠」や「自壊する帝国」よりも読み易く感じました。
話題が広範囲にわたるためか、緻密さという点では、
なんとなく、少し物足りなく思ったのですが。
