「ぼくの怪獣大百科」に続き、この「レッド」もとても笑わせてくれます。これ、本当に怪獣？というような「いい怪獣」からあまり役に立たなさそうな、へんてこりんな怪獣まで、よくまあこんなにノートに書き溜めていたものだと感心し、思わず尊敬してしまいました。また、色の塗り方がものすごく丁寧で、「怪獣を愛している」気持ちが随所から伝わってきます。人それぞれ「これがあったら100人力」と思える精神的な支えがあるとは思いますが、彼の場合、それが怪獣だったんだなあと思わずしみじみ。前回を上回る力作ぞろいです。

この作品は前作の続きで１０１~２００体の怪獣が載ってあり、前と違って６４色の色を駆使して怪獣１体ずつ色がつけてあります。もちろん相方の高橋さんによるコメントも掲載されています。買うのに迷っている人は前作と一緒に買うことをおすすめします。

前作に続いての第2弾は色つきでパワーアップしたと思います。
独特な色彩が、ますます怪獣に味わいを出しています。
本を開いて「カラフルになった不思議な怪獣ワールドに遊びに行く」て感じです。
