最近はどう進行してるんでしょうか？完結したら是非とも揃えたい大河ドラマです。紅天女以降、話がどんどん精神世界よりになって行って、正直言って美内センセが「エースをねらえ！」の山本センセのように教祖さまになってしまったら・・・と、ひそかに心配しておりました。全く少女漫画家というのはシャーマンにも近い存在であると思います。他国に類を見ない文学や精神世界の香りのする少女漫画が生まれる国、日本。これはやはり源氏物語やなんかの女流を生んだ国の伝統だからなんでしょうか。

少女漫画の最高峰「ガラスの仮面」マヤと月影先生のマッドさが、初刊から炸裂しています。この頃亜弓さんは全くの脇。目なんか点です。どーでもよく描かれていたはずなのに、上記の二人の毒気にあおられ、今はマッドな秀才と化し人生をあやまりました。でも、男を寄せ付けない超美形な変人ぶりが、素敵にクールなのです。

昔からガラスの仮面は気にはなっていましたが、いい年をした男がレジにもってゆける代物ではなく、この文庫版が発売されてやっと買うことが出来ました。
たしか３巻まで買って読み始めたのですが・・・
なんじゃこりゃあ？？
おもしろい、おもしろすぎるぜ。３巻あっというまに読みきってしまい、続きの読みたさに畳をバンバン叩き、翌日朝から本屋で続きを買いました。たしか５冊。しかし、やっぱり続きが読みたい。
結局発売されている最終巻まで一気に買うこととなりました。
こんなことは後にも先にも初めてのことです。同じような経験を誰かが書評に書いてたのも見たことあります。
読み始める時は夏休みなどが望ましいでしょう。勉強も仕事も手につかなくなる恐れがあります。

　ガラスの仮面と言うタイトルは男性の私でもあまりに有名でもちろん聞いたことが
ありましたが、今までドラマはもちろん原作も一切読んだことがありませんでした。
1976年に連載が開始されてから、なんとまだストーリー自体は完結していないという
お話をどこかで聞いて、大変興味を持って読み進めていますが、1巻、2巻・・・と
巻が進むごとにスピードに加速がつく感覚でぐいぐい引き込まれてしまっています。
　まだまだガラスの仮面と言う壮大な世界のほんの入口に立ったにすぎない私があれ
これ言うことはできませんが、軽薄短小が持て囃される昨今、このような30年、40年
50年と壮大に雄大にそして重厚に取り組む作品あってもいいと思います。
