この作品の醍醐味のひとつとして、零と枢という二大ヒーローがいて、どちらがヒロイン優姫と結ばれるか…という要素がかなりの比重を占めていると思います。今回優姫は零と決別してしまいましたが、このまま２度と会わないという事はさすがにないと思うし、思いたい。でもあまりにも紙数を割いた綺麗な別離だっただけに、一体どんな展開で二人は再び相まみえるのか、今後の展開が非常に気になります。一方枢の今後もとても気になります。ほとんど優姫の為だけに生きてきたかのように見える枢――今回優姫を公然と守れる立場をようやくにして手に入れた彼が、今後また優姫を手放す時が来たりしたら…と思うとそれも辛いし…。
ようやく学園編が終わったばかりで最終回まではまだ遠いようですが、三人がそれぞれ幸せになれるラストだといいなぁと願います。

人間と吸血鬼の共存を目指して創られた黒主学園。
だがその平和は、吸血鬼・李土と吸血鬼元老院、
そして陰で癒着していたハンター協会によって破られた。
吸血鬼たちの狩場と化した学園で、学園の吸血鬼たちは
生徒たちを守るために動く。
一方、自分の本性を思い出した優姫と
彼女と敵対することになった零は。。
学園編、クライマックス。

優姫の正体を知り、彼女への想いを抱きながら敵となる零。
優姫の記憶が戻ったことで、本来の立場で彼女を守れることになった枢。
記憶を取り戻した自分に戸惑いながら、零のために敵になることにした優姫。
三人の想いが切ない巻でした。
もうすぐ終わるのかなと思っていましたが、まだまだ続きそうです。
でも学園編は終わり。。ですね。
なんか１巻のラブコメモードとは遠いところへ来てしまいました。

他に特別編として、優姫の母ののろけ話と
黒主パパの子育て日記などが収録されています。

話の時間軸としては9巻からほとんど進まないのですが、登場人物達（特に零、理事長、架院先輩）の過去の思い出が絡んできて、彼らの気持ちが大洪水で切ない気持ちになりました。
私は特に４８夜（架院先輩から見た瑠佳）とおまけの樹里さんの話が好きです。
読み終わって、「あれ？もう終わり？」と、ちょっと読み足りない気分になってしまったのですが、せつない度、零を助けたい度、架院先輩頑張れ度で星５つ。

次巻は冬に発売で学園編の１年後とか。早く読みたい〜。

それにしても、ますますミステリアスになっていく黒主理事長。彼は一体、何者？
（「ボクのゆっきぃ〜」とか言ってた頃の面影が、本編では全く見られません。）
