前作の『ぼく地球』を愛していた方々からは賛否両論ある続編です。絵が変わってしまったことや、最終回の余韻を大事にするあまりに不要な続編はいらないという意見もチラホラ聞きますが、『ぼく地球』連載当時から、輪と亜梨子が結ばれて幸せになってほしいと願いながら読んでいた(私のような)読者の方には、なかなか嬉しい続編だと思います。
夫婦になって、可愛い息子(蓮)も授かり、時には夫婦喧嘩をしながら、相変わらずラブラブで生活している輪と亜梨子を見ているだけで幸せになれます。『ぼく地球』連載当時、こんな輪と亜梨子を見てみたい、と願っていた私の願望が、10年以上たった今になってようやく叶えられました。
輪と亜梨子のカップルファンの方にはオススメできると思います。

第４話魔法学校希望
第５話モコヤマ先生と魔法学校
第６話ウソ時々ホント
第７話歌が光になるまでのお話

二年生に進級した蓮は未だに学校を休みがちだったが、担当のモコヤマ先生が魔法学校を開いてくれるという。
カチコも転校してきたし翼とも仲良くなれたし、蓮にとって学校というものが変わりつつある。

そんなときに遭遇した学校の七不思議。この話、非常に感動しました。
モコヤマ先生と校長先生の再会、そしてリコーダーが戻ってくるところ。全てが蓮のおかげなんじゃ！なんて思うほど・・・。

あとはボク地球ファンならば懐かしいのが第七話。
蓮の歌がまさかキサナドだったとは。読んでいるときに思わず「うわーーー」といってしまいました。しかも額には・・・。

半年に一度の刊行になるけど、いつまでも待っていられる。読み終わるとほっと心が温かくなるのがこのシリーズの好きなところです。

「自分には秘めた可能性があるんだ」って誰しも思うものじゃないでしょうか。子供なら特に、超能力があるんじゃないかとか。
輪と亜梨子（ありす）の子供・蓮も、そんなことを考えていた。

登校拒否しがちになる蓮の希望を叶えるため、担任の聟山先生が「魔法学校」の授業をしてくれることになったという話が中心のコミックスです。
個人的にはかなりお勧めのコミックスなのですが、この前世編の「ぼくの地球を守って」を読んでいないと話が通じないかもしれないところが痛いです。
