前巻でお互いの想いを確認した蝶子と京。蝶子の態度、京の心境にも変化が！！２人は少しずつ歩み寄っていくように見えましたが・・・。
斉藤けん先生の繊細な心理描写が光る作品です。
物語自体はだんだんと暗くなっていきますが、楽しい新キャラのおかげで笑えます。個性の強いキャラクターが４人も！！
彼らが落ち込みそうな雰囲気を盛り上げています。
そして、最後には京の過去に関係ありそうな女性が・・・。昔の京に何があったのか！　今後の展開が益々気になります。
私のお気に入りは、カメラを嫌がる京、マイナスイオンを出す蝶子、そして噛みまくるパー介です((笑
あとは、カバーの絵と内側の表紙の絵が連動しているところですね。こういうちょっとした技を使う漫画家さんが、個人的に好みです。
ゆっくりと進んでいく恋が好きな方は、ぜひ読んでみてください。絵、ストーリー、キャラクター、全てにおいておすすめです！！

書店で一目ぼれして、買い、家でゆっくり読んで、恋に落ちました。
お互い孤独な者同士が身を寄せ合うように、そしてあまり近付き過ぎないように、そんな距離感がたまりません。
こんな切なくて静かな少女マンガが読めるなんて。
主人公の水島蝶子は遠い親戚の水島京という作家の家に身をよせています。
家族を失って自暴自棄になり、緩やかに自殺しているようだった彼女を救ったのは水島京の家の庭でした。そして彼女が冬を自分の力で乗り越えて庭を花でいっぱいにする頃、水島京自身も変わってきました。それが１巻までの内容です。
２巻はそれを継いで、大学生になった蝶子と京の生活が大きく変わってきます。２人を誰よりも理解する秋山（文芸編集者）の文学オタクっぷりが炸裂する巻でもあります。
新キャラのメガネ君もいい味出してます。
和服+メガネ+作家・・・いささか　符号が（笑）

恋かな。愛情かな。でも、そんな言葉で綺麗な、まるで花のような斎藤けん世界は語れないですねーぇ。
３巻も期待できる内容でした！

少女漫画から始まりあらゆる漫画をへて
たどり着いた私のマストは少女漫画でした｡
「花の名前」で私は再び思春期を味わう羽目になりました。主人公蝶子さんの想いと京さんの眼差し｡
これはもう､まさに情交。巷の具体的描写のものよりも激しく。
自分の中に眠っていた感情を揺さぶられた素晴らしい表現です｡少ない登場人物がどう展開していくのか。静かに行く先を楽しみにしています｡
