5.0 out of 5 stars 「ぼく地球」以降の名作だと思います。, 2007/1/17
漫画のレビューに絵が変った事を避難する人が結構いますが、作家の方々にだって年月が過ぎていって、変化があるのは当然だと思います。昔の方がデッサンが安定していた、ということが良くあるのは事実だけど、デフォルメの好みも流行によって変ってくる物だし、例えば日渡さんにしても、「ぼく地球」の間に絵柄がかなりあか抜けてきて、「星は、すばる」の時と全然違いますよね。どの時代の時の絵柄が好きかは好みと思いますが、漫画家にも自分の進むまま、絵に変化をさせる自由があるはずで、そこを責めるのは好ましくないと思います。
例えば、このGlobal Gardenでも、幻想的な効果はとても上手だと思うし、キャラクターだってきちんと魅力的に描かれていると、私は思います。（アインシュタインなんか、すごく可愛いし。）

ストーリーの方ですが、やはり日本にとって重いテーマを、とても良く生かしたと思います。特に、日本人自体がこの題材を取り上げて、起きてしまった惨事への悲しみを表現しながら、これからそんな事が無いように、との願いを表現するのは意味がある事ではないでしょうか。
アインシュタインの後悔、自責と「間違えをただす事が出来たら」という悲願は、事実と思いますが、それがこの作品で日渡氏が伝えたかったメッセージではないでしょうか。
主人公の一途な恋はやっぱり（少女）漫画の醍醐味！エンターテイメント性もちゃんとあります。
話が出来ないというキャラクターもとてもうまく使っているし、はじめの方の伏線も、ラストまでに見事に生きてます。
現実の出来事にファンタジーを重ねて、ちゃんと伝えたいメッセージを持たせて、さすが日渡さん！
「ぼく地球」以降の作品はノリが私にはついていけない感もあったんですが、これはとっても好きです。
「ぼく地球」、海外でも出てますね。ファンも着実についています。
ぜひ、この作品も海外に出してほしいです。

日渡早紀が得意とする、近未来＆記憶がキーワードのスペクタクル歴史ファンタジー？！この一巻目は登場人物の紹介って感じで、まだまだ話の核心には触れていないから、全体像は把握できないけど、今後の展開が期待出来そうな作品。それにしても、なんでまた過去の偉人をテーマに持ってきたのだろう？ぜひとも解明するまできちんと書き上げて欲しいものだ。
