　月影千草による紅天女のさわり実演が終わり、その余韻もさめやらない梅の谷。演技を通して速水に告白するマヤ・・・　　梅の谷への吊り橋を燃やしてしまい新しい時代が来たことを高らかに告げる神のような月影千草。そのあとで、これまでの鬱憤を晴らすかのようにお互いにとっくみあいの喧嘩をし、相手をようやく理解できたマヤと亜弓の人間模様など様々な人々の姿が描かれ、少し話の流れに整理が付いてきたという感じでしょうか。人間関係の総決算かなあ。
　４０巻から何と５年ぶりに発刊された第４１巻ですが、梅の谷にマヤ達が行った２ヶ月間が実時間経過で１１年の長きにわたってしまいました。その間に時代が流れ、この巻で登場する１００系新幹線も今では現役を引退してしまうという状況になっています。梅の谷に出かけたときは確か団子鼻の０系新幹線だったんですよね。

最近「エースを狙え！」のドラマなどもあり、昔の漫画がやけに人気ですね。
確かに最近の漫画はマンネリ化してしまっているせいもあり、昔の絵や内容を見るのは楽しいです。
私が小学校の頃、塾の前に必ず図書館によっていました。
母が読んでいるのを見て、小学生であるにもかかわらず私はこの漫画の「内容」の虜に。

もちろんドラマもかかさずみていました！
おととしあたり、毎月発売される保存版（？）を買い、全巻集めてしまいました（笑
今私は高校生ですが、この漫画は一度みてみることをオススメします。
絵に抵抗がある人はドラマからみるのをすすめます。
エースを狙えの雄蝶婦人役の人が、主人公のライバルあゆみさん役をやっているので、そこも魅力ですよ！
