隔週で発売の「ヤングアニマル」の連載物。 純和風というか、古き良き日本というか・・・。 ふんわり感満載の恋愛物。 読んでいてホっとする作品です。

　「か、可愛い~っ！」

　ＴＶに映っているキンシコウの映像を見た、大の動物好きティナが放った鶴の一声のおかげで、休日返上で動物園に向かうハメになった明立大写真部の面々。しかし当日、鈴木部長は電車の追っかけ、佐藤はアイドルイベントの攻略であえなく離脱。さらには終電を乗り逃すなどのハプニングが重なり、ティナと薫は二人っきりで一夜を過ごすことに・・・。　　
　

　そんなある休日のハプニングを描いた、冒頭３篇（「瑠璃」「相聞歌」「同衾」）が、いかにも純真な恋心を丹念に描く「藍より青し」らしくて、読者をかなりいい気持ちにしてくれます。

　何といっても、博多弁を喋る陽気なアメリカ人、ティナ・フォスターが魅力的。初詣で「地球が幸せでありますように！」と、真面目!な顔をしてお願い事をしてしまう、全く気の置けないおおらかさが魅力のティナ。このエピソードでもカラオケバトル（「おは~おは~」が可笑しい！）や動物園のイベントで、生き生きとした賑やかさを振りまき、時には「エッ、この人が！」と思わせる、秘めた恋心を垣間見せて、「青春だよね~、こういうのって！」と思わせてくれます。
　
　背景になる雨降りの田舎町が、なかなか叙情的に描かれていて、読後いつまでも印象に残る、好一篇。

　コミカルで楽しいけれども、しっかりとひたむきな想いが描かれていて、要所要所でジワッとさせてくれる・・。そんな恋愛ストーリーが読んでみたい、という人にオススメ。
