清水さんのＳＦには切ないものが多くて、涙させられることが多いのですが、今回は「２００３」のＺＩＰの平井少年への愛情とその幸福に、そして「２００２」の天地さんの夢見ていたささやかな幸福に涙しました。事件そのものは凄惨なものも多く、人の醜さ、異常さをも感じさせる部分もあるのですが、そのそれぞれの思いの美しさにそうした部分は相殺され、いえむしろ人の思いの美しさ、切なさを感じさせられます。そして捜査といえ、そうした個人の秘密を暴き、その思いの重さを背負い続けて行くのであろう第九のメンバーのそれぞれの心にも思いが向かいます（何となく、以前読んだ死刑執行官の手記を思い出しました）。そうした思いの美しさ、切なさが清水さんの絵の美しさとあいまって強く訴えかけてくる作品です。

何十年か後には、この作品で描かれているように、人の記憶を見ることができるのかもしれません。けれども、そこには隠しておきたい思いも、そして誰かに知ってほしい、受け継いでほしい思いも複雑に入り交じっていて、それらがすべて白日のもとにさらされてしまうかもしれない可能性に考えさせられる思いです。誰かに知ってほしい、受け継いでほしい思いもその人だけの思いである以上、秘密にしておく方がいいのかもしれません。

「秘密１」「秘密２」続けて読んだ。
清水玲子氏のコミックは画もキレイだが、ストーリーも複雑で読後に心に残ってしまう内容が多い。この本も例外ではない。
「死して語るもの無」、ではなく「死後も語るもの有り」の視点から人間の死後を解析する「第九」の分析官の日常はどうのような生活を送っているのだろうと、、ふと考えてしまう。

ストーリーが展開するにつれ、読者までもが心理的に追い込まれそうになる。
読後、引きずられてか不覚にも涙がでてしまった。

研修生天地の話は、社会人1年目の自分を思い出し、涙しました。
「ありがとう」、新人が一番うれしいと感じた言葉だと、某アンケート結果にありました。
中堅と呼ばれる身になった今、忘れかけていたことをいろいろと思い出し、反省する
機会にもなりました。
最終的には、やや救いのあるラストだと感じましたが（青木の罪悪感の軽減）、
事件に巻き込まれることがなければ、天地＆青木の共に成長する姿が見られたのに、と
やっぱり悲しくなるラストでした。
