この巻も、翼と一馬のお話です。翼編の事実上の完結とも言える本巻ですが、
翼と一馬とのすれ違いと翼の揺れ行く心とが話の主軸となっています。

周りからちやほやされつづけた翼、
しかし本当にほしい物は常に与えられなかった翼。
氷のように堅く冷え切った翼の心をどうやって一馬が溶かしていくのか？
翼はどのように己の業を乗り越えていくのか？

11、12巻だけでも単独で楽しめる外伝的な構成になっていますので、
カレカノに興味のある方はまず11、12巻を試してみては？

一馬と翼のお話。

子供の頃から父親と二人きりで、心が凍りついてしまった孤独な少女と、孤独ではあったけれど音楽に愛されてしまった少年のお話です。

人の心というのは、とても動かしがたいもの。

ほんとうに人を好きになったり、誰かを救おうとしたり、救われようとしたり・・・・「ほんとう」に人の心を動かそうと思ったとき、きっと一度は絶望したことがあると思います。

直りたいと思う人に、医者は幾らでの力を貸せるけど、そうでない人には力にはなれない・・・・。悲しい言葉です。

僕は一馬が羨ましい、と思った。

歌には、人の心に気持ちを届ける力がある。
そして、それを創造し表現する才能を与えられた彼が、とても羨ましいと思いました。そうでなければ、一馬と翼は、傷つけあうことしかできなかったはずだから。

僕は、とても好きな巻です。
ちなみにインヤンのSleepin'Beautyは、ナイスネーミングですね。
眠り姫は、王子様のキスで目が覚めるものなのです。

一馬とつばさシリーズの完結本です。

約10巻から続いたこのシリーズ、なんともいえない一品です。大きくなっていく陰陽と一馬。しかし子供のままでいたいつばさ。二人をつないでいた姉弟という絆が壊れてしまったとき、二人をつなぐものは・・・。今後も彼彼女たちの行方を読みたいものです。私的にはマーティンがはまりのつぼだと思うのですが・・・。
