栃木県生まれ。東京女子大学短期大学部卒業。舞踏家・造形作家を経て、現在、絵本・童話作家として活躍中。紙芝居「ねんね ねんね」(教育画劇)で高橋五山賞審査員特別賞を受賞。全国でおはなし会をひらいている

宇野 亞喜良
愛知県生まれ。名古屋市立工芸高校図案科卒業。カルピスの広告課、日本デザインセンター、スタジオ・イルフィル、スタジオ・Reを経てフリーに。日宣美特選、日宣美会員賞、講談社出版文化賞挿絵賞、サンリオ美術賞、赤い鳥挿絵賞などを受賞。1999年紫綬褒章を受章。装丁・装画、舞台脚本・芸術監督・美術、映画ポスター作品など、多方面で活躍中(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

「いいこ」にしてるから「好きよ」
じゃあ「いいこ」にしていなかったら「嫌い」…？
と言う親子が陥りがちな罠が美しくも怖い絵本になりました。

宇野亜喜良の絵は怖くていいなぁ
他にもいろいろあるけれど
「少女」と「くま」は相性が良い組み合わせだな。

大人っぽい絵本だけれど、
渦中にいる子どもに読んでもらいたい。
かつて「いいこ」だった大人にも。

希望を持てず何もかも否定して森へ逃げた女の子は、ある出会いによって時間をかけてゆっくりと心の傷が回復していきます。
それは優しさに包まれる事、愛情に包まれる事、自然にふれる事、愛情をわけてあげられる事、将来に不安を持たない事、今を大事に出来る事、温もりを感じられる事を自ら体験したからです。

『さびしすぎて　なにが　たりないのか、なにが　ほしいのか　わからなかった』と言う女の子の台詞が哀しく響きます。

ありのままの自分を必要としてくれるという確かな愛情を感じられたとき、相手を受け入れて、生きるという喜びが生まれるのかもしれません。

今を生きているアナタへ・・・。

ひとりで頑張りすぎていませんか？
誰の力を借りて生きていますか？

もし一人でいることが辛いと感じているなら誰かの力を借りてください。

いつまでも生命が輝いていくことを願っています。
この絵本はこう語りかけているように思えます。

「あなたは　いいこ」
おかあさんが　いいました。
「だから　わたしは　あなたが　すき」

という、世にも悲しい始まりの絵本。美しく、悲しく、メランコリー親和型の典型のような「いいこ」の少女が、傷つき、そして再生するお話。
挿絵も痛々しく、美しい。
泣きました。傷ついた大人に、読んで欲しい本です。
