「ありんこぐんだん」と同じ絵だ〜、と息子がリクエストして購入しました。

　小学4年生の子どもが授業でお母さんに手紙をかくというストーリーなのですが、「おかあさんにいいたいこと」を書くのです。

　その「いいたいこと」がとっても子どもらしいのに、読後感は「すごいいい本！」（子どものウケはイマイチでしたが）。どちらかというと大人向けの内容かもしれません。

　いやぁ、でもオススメっす

子供が武田美穂さんの絵本が大好きなので良く読んでるんですが、その中でも「おかあさん、げんきですか」は感動ものです！子供に読んであげてたんですが、最後のほうにきたら声が震えてきてチョット、ヤバかったです。大人が読んでも楽しめますよ！子供はゲラゲラ笑ってましたが・・・

母の日に、授業でお母さんへの手紙を書く羽目になった男の子。その子が書いた手紙とは…？

この本に限ってはどうあってもネタバレを避けたいので
あまり詳しくは書けないが、絵を見るだけで笑い転げてしまう。
表情のつけ方が素晴らしいのだ。表情に限らず絵全体を見ても
書き込み過ぎず書かなさ過ぎず、絶妙のバランス。
お話も同様、盛り込みすぎず少な過ぎずのバランスで
ユーモラスなエピソードを巧みにつづっている。

そして何より驚きなのが、これが二人の人の手になる絵本だということ。
後藤氏と武田氏のコンビでこれまでにもたくさんの絵本が書かれているのか
これが初めてなのかは知らないが、一分の隙もなく呼吸が合っていて展開がとてもリズミカル。

強いて難点を挙げるなら、面白過ぎて立ち読みに不向きなこと。
少なくとも、本屋の店頭で笑い転げて客と店員の注目を浴びるのがイヤなら。
