伊藤 洋
1940年山梨県生まれ。前山梨大学副学長・工学博士。芭蕉に関する国内最大級のデータベース「芭蕉DB」を運営、講演や研究活動を積極的に進めている(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

本書は濃い文字で書かれた本文と薄い文字で書かれた書き写し文が
交互の構成になっていて、薄い文章をえんぴつでなぞって行く形の
本です。

松尾芭蕉の軌跡をたどりながら美しい楷書体をなぞるのは写経の
ような心地よさで心洗われる時間です。一日分が短くまとめられて
５０章、５０日分になっている形は続けやすいと思います。

ただただ綺麗な文字を書きたいと思って購入しましたが、
まったく興味の無かった松尾芭蕉の味わいにもハマり、
”一粒で二度オイシイ”状態となりました。

ただ難を言えば、
本の構造（綴じ方）が百科事典タイプなので、
右側のページの写し書きは非常にしんどいです。
（後半になると左側のページが厄介です）
この点においては絶対的に改良して欲しいところです。

なにもハードカバーにする事はないと思うんですよねぇ。。。

何はともあれ、ありがちなペン習字の本と違い、
内容が松尾芭蕉なので飽きることなく写し書きを続ける事が出来、
こういった形式での本をもっと出して欲しい…と思いました。

文字がきれいになりたくて購入。薄墨色で印刷された奥の細道の書き文字を、鉛筆でなぞっていくペン字のワークブックです。

一般的なペン字テキストが、季節の挨拶などつまんない文章が多いなか、「奥の細道」をテキストにするなんてグッドアイディア。
小学生に戻った気分で楽しくなぞっているうちに、文字が上手になり教養も身につくという仕掛けです。
２０代３０代でも楽しいと思います。

お手本の文字も、クセがなく素直にきれい。
真似したい！と思える書体（？）なのも高得点です。
１回通しでなぞったくらいでは、劇的に達筆になれるわけないけど、
テキストが優れているから、あきずに２〜３冊書きつぶせそう。

聖書とか詩集とかもあればいいのに。シリーズ化を希望します。

ただし、ご指摘通り製本の構造でなぞり書きしにくいのが玉に瑕。
次からはハードカバーや平綴じはやめ、書きやすいノート風製本にしてもらいたい。
