クリスマスプレゼントのための一冊なので、まだ子供は読んでいません。
本屋さんに行くまでほかの本をを買うつもりでしたが
店頭でこちらに変えてしまうほどかわいい絵本。

幼いお姉ちゃんと弟の兄弟が出てきますが、
我が子がもっと小さいころ、こんなおでこをしてたなーと
懐かしくなってしまいました。
親のほうが読みたかったのでしょうね。

女の子がきつねたちと縄跳びをする笑顔は
どのお子さんとも重なるかわいらしい表情です。

遠目だとこの絵の魅力が伝わらないかな…
とちょっと不安だったのですが、
実際やってみたら
絵に動きがあって遠目でも
とても素敵でした。
酒井さんの絵の構成力に脱帽です。

お話もちょっと不思議で…
少しだけ女の子向けでしょうか。

あまんさんお得意の「きつね」もの。
何かと悪者として登場する物語の多いきつねですが、
あまんさんのおはなしに出てくるきつねは、いつも心やさしい。
子どもたちも間口が広くて、人間かそうでないかなんて気にせずに
きつねたちを受け入れ、一緒に遊びます。
帰る時間になったとき、思いがけないことが…。

読んでいる私も、嬉しいような、恥ずかしいような、なんだかごちゃごちゃの気持ちになりました。
酒井さんがまたこのおはなしにぴったりの絵を描いてくれて、
ふたり(?)のりえちゃんの気持ちが、ほわ~っと伝わってくるようです。
おはなしも絵も、やさしい母親のまなざしを感じます。
