44のことわざの絵札と読み札のカルタです。それぞれに1枚ずつ予備カード（白札）が付いています。絵札の裏にはことわざの意味と使い方が書かれています。絵は、いもとようこさんの可愛らしい絵でほのぼのとしており、子どもは絵本で親しんでいることもあり、とても気に入っています。

キャラクターかるたを買ったのですが、なんかいまいちだなぁと思ってました。そしたらこのかるたを見つけて即買いました、自分が子供の頃にことわざかるたをやったので、私はことわざには強いのです（笑）4歳の子と毎日のようにやっているので、あいうえおを覚える時に「つ」は鶴のひとこえの「つ」、「ま」はまないたの鯉の「ま」と子供がことわざを覚えてしまっているので、買ってよかったなと思います。

　幼稚園児の娘に購入しました。いもとようこさんの温かみのある絵に、娘もひきつけられて楽しんでいます。何度も遊んでいるうちに「これはどういう意味なの」と聞いてきたりして、親子で勉強しています。知っているつもりになっていることって結構あるもので、娘のおかげでまたいろいろと勉強になっています。親子で楽しめるカルタです！
