小学生位向け？ですが、大人でも十分楽しめます。とにかく双子パンダのツーショットがかなり可愛いです。撮影者は毎日のように動物園に通ったそうで、親子パンダのじゃれる姿を上手く撮っていると思います。パンダの塊・・・
パンダ好きなら買って損はなし！

写真もお話しの内容もとってもかわいくて、読んでいると思わずほほがゆるんできます（^^）。私は、兄弟~友達~知人の出産祝いに（対象年齢４歳~ですが…）贈ってよろこばれています。これを見て育った子供は、やさしい子に育つことでしょう。しかもパンダ好き（笑）

中国の北京動物園に生まれた
パンダの双子の赤ちゃんとお母さんの物語。
丸々している赤ちゃんが、かわいい。
頬が、ゆるみます。

お話は、ハッピーエンドです。
でも、「あとがき」で、その後、お兄ちゃんパンダが
心臓病で亡くなってしまったという、お話も載っています。

また、「あとがき」では、パンダについて、知らなかったことも
いっぱい教えてもらいました。
寿命が約２０年であること、
母パンダには、一頭しか子供を育てない習性があり、
双子が生まれた場合、一頭は
食べられたり、踏み潰されたりするようです。
そして今回、危険を覚悟の上、二頭の子供を育てさせてみたのだそうです。
この動物園の人たちの大変さを思うと、ウルウルしてしまいました。

物語だけでなく、あとがきでも楽しめる本でした。
（あとがきの漢字には、ふりがながついているので、
小学生でも読めるようになっています。）
