父となった私が息子に初めて買い与えた本です。本屋で様々な本を開き悩んだ挙句､この本を手にし､開き、即決しました。子供向け絵本の基本である繰り返しパターンをベースとしながらも､描かれている生物の絵は緻密かつ正確であり、子供も､いやむしろ大人が楽しい（だからこそ子供も楽しくなる）お勧めの絵本です。

いろんな生き物が、ぴょーん。
おひざに子供をのせて読み聞かせると、子供のぴょーんで、あごに子供のづつきをくらうこと、あり。注意。
2歳の息子が、ぴょーんを覚えた絵本。

1歳前の息子に与えたところ興味なしという感じで、少しがっかりしていたのですが、1歳２，３ヵ月くらいからすっかりお気に入りになりました。何度も読むのは、単純なので親としてはツライのですが、子供のぴょーんを聞くとうれしくなってきます。今では、かたつむりのところにくるとニヤニヤしてます。
