私がこれを初めて読んだのは小５の時だから…5年くらい前でしょうか。11歳の心に、自然破壊に対する怒りを植えつけてくれました。ファンタジーとして楽しめるけれど、環境問題についても考えさせてくれる。そんなすばらしい1冊だと思うので、本当にぜひぜひ読んでみてください。

私が読んだのは結構前になりますが、良い話です。
今でも覚えています。
この本を読んだら気持ちが暖かくなって、緑（自然）に優しくなれるような本ですよ。
素直に感動できました。

ストーリーの内容と言い、雰囲気と言い、ラストと言い、実に筆者らしい作品だと思う。
子供向けの本なのだが、別に大人が読んでも問題ないだろう。
自然環境問題を捉えた、どちらかと言えば切ない作品。
