　ねこちゃんのおべんとうにはいっていた天ぷらを自宅で自分で作って食べてるうさこ。
　おいしいにおいにさそわれて、おばけがつまみぐいにやってきます。

　お野菜の天ぷらを上手につくっている様子に子供はくぎづけ。
　そこにみんなの大好きなおばけが登場。
　しかも天ぷらはおいしそうですし、はらはらする事件もおきて…。

　お話も挿絵も楽しくて、親子で楽しめます。
　３さいの娘の今のお気に入りです。
　　
　一昔前の台所の様子がたんねんに描かれていて、私は懐かしくながめました。

4歳の子供と寝る前に読んで聞かせて、いつも盛り上がっています。日常的なてんぷらと、(一般的には)怖いおばけとの組み合わせが最高!!てんぷらの材料や作り方を理解しつつ、おばけでどきどき。最後まで楽しく読んでくれます。

とてもおもしろいです。主人公のうさぎが、ちょっとおとぼけでほのぼのとしています。読んだあと、必ずてんぷらを作りたくなってしまいます。せなけいこさんの本はいろいろ読みましたがこのお話は傑作だと思います。年齢問わず楽しめます。
