不思議の国のアリス、鏡の国のアリスでおなじみのアリスが、
物語の中で遭遇する奇妙なお料理の作り方です。
「お飲みなさい」ドリンクや「こしょうはもう沢山」スープ、
　二刀流きのこ、にせ海亀のスープ、ハートの女王のタルト･･･

アリスは、食べ物にまつわるトラブルに散々巻き込まれますが、

ここで紹介されているレシピはどれも、作ってみても美味しい物ばかりです！
以前のハードカバー本や新潮文庫と内容は変っていないようですが、
新しい装丁でもの凄く素敵な一冊となりました！
そのメニューの出てくるシーンと挿絵がふんだんに入っているので
単なるレシピ本ではなく、絵本としても楽しめます。

ただし以前に比べて挿絵の線が少々つぶれているように見うけられます
巻末にルイス･キャロルによるユニークなエチケットの解説もあります。
アリスの国の不思議なお料理を味わいながら、アリスの物語を読まれてみてはいかがでしょうか。

小さい頃読んだ物語のなかの食べ物って、すっごくおいしそうにかんじませんでしたか？
プディングにバタつきパンにジャムタルト！
この本には、ああたべてみたい！と思っていた食べ物のレシピがたくさん載っています。
子供の頃憧れていた食べ物たちを自分で作って食べれるなんて、なんて素敵なことなんでしょう。

大人になってよかった！
このレシピを手に入れて、お望みのものを作ったなら、あなたはきっとこう言うはずです。

むしろ物語“不思議の国のアリス”と“鏡の国のアリス”をより楽しむためのガイド本。著者のエッセイと料理らしきものが登場する場面周辺の翻訳＋イラスト＋レシピで構成されていますが、レシピに相当するページは多くはありません。またレシピに忠実に試すとなると手に入りにくい材料も少なくありません。
