いわゆるセレブと呼ばれる人たちの
日常を垣間見ることが出来る本です。
普段、彼女らが考えていること、食べているもの、着ているもの･･･。
どれもが私や私の周りの人とは違います（大違い？）。
読んでいて憧れは感じるのですが、
少しばかり嫌味に感じる部分もあります（やっかみなんでしょうね）。

セレブ風を感じて見たい人には良いかもしれませんが、
私のような庶民にはため息だけが出るのでオススメしたくないです。。。

出産して子育てに追われている頃に購入しました。今では、もう古い本でしょうが、
素敵な本です。この本の文章がとても素敵ですし内容も素晴らしい本ですが、
十和子さんが書いた文章ではないのではないかと私には思われてなりません。
実物の十和子さんと本の中での十和子さんにかなりギャップがあるように感じるのです。
君島ブティックでお会いした時の彼女の感想です。
本を読んで感動してファンになった私は、今でもトワタンの本は買っていますが、
果たして本当に彼女が創り上げたものかどうか　？？？

テレビで、十和子さんがやっている、
「手にクリームを塗り、綿の手袋とビニールの手袋の両方をして、お湯で食器洗いをすると、エステ効果で手がツルツル」
という方法が紹介されていました。
実践してみたら、本当にその通りだったんです。
本を読めば、もっと参考になることが書いてあるかな？と期待したのですが･･･
残念ながら、私の期待ははずれてしまいました。
十和子さん本人には、なんの興味もない私にとって、実践的な美の追究以外の話しは全く面白いとは思えなかった。
ファンじゃない人にはお勧めできない本ですね。
